With national production currently at 3,000 million coconuts per year—well below the estimated demand of 4,500 million—this handbook introduces forward-thinking strategies to bridge the gap. Designed with a focus on sustainability and resilience, it presents farmers with actionable, climate-smart practices, including advanced water management, integrated pest control, nutrient optimization, and climate adaptation techniques. This collaborative effort reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening agricultural productivity, supporting rural livelihoods, and contributing to a more sustainable and food-secure future for Sri Lanka.
